We are a small, family owned Ely, MN BWCA Wilderness Resort and BWCA Wilderness Canoe Trip Outfitter on Fenske Lake located just off the scenic Echo Trail north of Ely, MN.  Our love of canoe camping, fishing, hunting and trapping along with the variety of winter activities we enjoy has taken us into parts of the Superior National Forest seldom visited by human traffic.  For the past 29 years this has literally been our backyard and it is our pleasure to share this knowledge with you.

Fenske Lake is surrounded by numerous Boundary Waters Canoe Area (BWCAW)  entry points which make us the perfect choice as your Ely, MN Boundary Waters Canoe Outfitter and / or your Ely, MN resort vacation.  

Our four enchanting, secluded cabins (Ely resorts best kept secret) nestled amoung tall pines and situated right on the waters edge with emphasis on providing a "Wilderness Experience" over ammenties make our resort the epitome of a
"true northwoods resort cabin vacation."
From your private L-shape dock you can paddle / portage into canoe only lakes giving you a glimpse of a BWCA canoe trip by day with a bed at night.

Though motors are allowed on all lakes outside the Boundary Waters (BWCAW); you will not be bombarded with large motor boats nor is our lake lined with house after house.  Our lake is perfect for those who want to learn "how to" or "perfect" their paddling skills.
